LoVeLy NeW sHoes

To tell you the truth, I have not been out shopping at the ONLY place to shop up here in Genting - First World Plaza for...more than a month!! Yes, it's true!

Not surprising, as both Dada & I worked morning shifts yesterday, we went out just to do stuff that lovers do. Eating out & shopping around. Well, not really shocked that there was nothing new. Still the same old shops, selling the same stuff..same faces working there..day in day out.

However, being the SHOPAHOLIC me, I'll always find something to buy. My favourite shop there has always been PADINI CONCEPT STORE. Where else to find cool, funky & afforadable shoes but there? Best of all, they have new items coming in like every other week! So, as I have not been shopping for quite a while...imagine all the cool shoes that I have been missing out!! Hahaha...I have not bought new shoes since...err..early May for the photoshoot? Hmm...that's more than a month!! So, I need new shoes...right??

So, in less than 20 minutes, I attacked my targets, got the right sizes for me & paid for them..RM110.40 ONLY for 2 pairs of LOVELY shoes!! Absolutely worth it...yeah??

mY 4Y4M aNNiVeRsaRy Gift

Continuing the story from my previous post. Was so sweet of Dada to take action on the things I wrote here.

To keep me from getting a new phone, he made the decision to send my handphone for repair. It will take around 3 weeks to a month to have it done. So, meanwhile, I can only use my primary phone, with the 016 number. Sigh~~Is a new phone really so much to ask for?? Hehehe....

Next, as for the uZap...Guess what was in store for me when I walked into the room on 19th (the eve of our dating anniversary)...Not only a NEW uZap, but with 2 MINI uZaps!! The old one, nope we didn't dump it. It's sent for repair as well. We'll have it + the memories intact in also around a month's time. So in total..we'll have 2 uZaps & 2 Mini uZaps...hahaha...(well, this is to ensure we don't have any more arguments taking turns to use the uZap in future..we'll have one each!) So smart of him...hmmm...see, I'm not the only VAIN one here...haha

eVerytHinG RoSak!!

I'm so damn mad!!! Seems like everything we have around us needs a change. You know why?? Coz they all broke down!!! 1st, I realised my OSIM uZap is not functioning. Next, my handphone Sony Ericsson K610i that I bought nearly 3 years back also went kaput...DAMN!! Not forgetting, our usual travelling bag that we used for all those trips abroad has also 'boycotted' us. All these stuff...were bought either in year 2006 or 2007. Is it really high time that we get new ones?

For the travelling bags, we got the replacements today. Well, this is one of the urgent items that needed our immediate attention. Coz we'll be going back to KK in 2 weeks!! Yippeee!!

Of all those things, the one that is most precious to me is my uZap. Dada got it for me as X'mas present in 2006. :( It has been out for nearly a month or so now & I feel the fats piling up on my tummy area....I don't wanna see those FAT ugly bulges coming back!!! I need to get a replacement soon! SOS!!! ~~sob~~sob~~

I'll need to check out the OSIM store we have here soon to find out the current market price or deals that they offer now. I need to get it QUICK!!!

Now, as for the handphone...hehe...I'm eyeing a touchscreen phone. It doesn't matter if it's not iPhone. I'm still a fan of Sony Ericsson. But my current W910i is really a disappointment. I dislike it lagging in terms of performance sometimes. The screen will also suddenly black out without notification even if you're in the middle of a conversation. The worst thing is that, the battery will turn scalding hot after only probably a 20mins call. U call this a PHONE?? Gosh...I'm very sick of it! I need a NEW PHONE!!

2009 1st HaLf

Today, is mid-June. Meaning to say, we're coming towards the middle of the year...which also means...that we have 5 months & 12 days till our BIG DAY!!! Gosh...I remembered when I first did the COUNTDOWN TICKER..we were sooooo far away...I thought we had to wait FOREVER..but now..with the blink of an eye..here we are!! & I'm getting pretty nervous..coz we have a thousand & one things to do!!

Well, of coz..we at least did one of the major highlights of a wedding...the PRE-WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT...it came out absolutely great!! After uploading it in FB..I really sorta regretted it. Coz I got some unwanted attention...(I'm not bragging...I'm seriously not happy about it) I got messages waiting for me in my FB inbox asking this & that about it. I receive phonecalls from friends..friends of friends..not so close friends..all asking about WHERE we took it, HOW much was it..WHICH bridal house...can you believe it?? Some are absolute STRANGERS!! Come on..it gives me a creepy feeling..that some strangers are viewing my pics...GOSH! I really need to reset my privacy settings in FB!! ***shivers***

You know, I really feel like telling those people...'Come on, even if you go to the same bridal house, the same photographer, the same gowns...you won't end up having the SAME outcome, people..Coz you know why?? Coz YOU can NEVER be US!! Every couple's looks, styles, compatibality & preferences are different! Don't you understand??' Don't be silly..OK! So, gimme a break! Go get something you really like & be yourselves...NOT try & be us & do all the things we DID...

Anyway....one thing worth mentioning that happened this year is that...my dear ROGER FEDERER finally won the FRENCH OPEN!!! Great job, Fed Ex! You never disappoint me...you are really worth my support all these years! Go on & break Pete Sampras' record, OK?

2009 King of Roland Garros

Of coz, if I were to tell you all my lovey-dovey things with Dada..blogspot would never have enough space nor memory for it. Haha...I know I'm lucky to have someone like him to share my life with. He could be a darling when I needed him the most & to also do all those funny funny things to make me laugh when a tear is about to drop. Quite a funny sentence, eh? Haha...Thank You, Lord..for sending him to me...to let me meet him in my life.

Let me just share ONE of the many, many sweet things he did recently. I mentioned to him one day that it has been AGES since I last tasted durian. Ohhh...I just LOOOVE durian. I just don't understand all those bullshit some people say that they can't stand the smell. OH GOSH...it's sooooo delicious!! How can u NOT like it?? ...it's my favourite!

Dada was to standby at KLIA throughout the last weekend. It's always sad to be away from each other. I miss having him to wake me up, to prepare the toothpaste for me & to walk me to work everyday....:( Well, please don't say that I have been spoilt rotten by him...I merely call this...LUCKY...HANG FOOK...ok?? hehehe..

Anyway, he came back last night...& gave me a surprise! He stopped by Tesco on the way back & bought me durian! I came back to our room after work last night smelling durian! YUMMY!! Hahaha...Thanks, Da...for loving me so much!

During our days off last week, we went to view our picture outcomes! We spent about 6 hours there viewing & selecting which ones to put into the albums, which ones we want in photoframes..etc.. Gosh..we had a hard time selecting!! It was a torture to pick only 45 out of 285 pics...God help us!! So, we ended up taking the softcopies of ALL the pics & adding an extra 5 pages to the big album..Needless to say...additional $$ has gone into it...but bloody well worth it, I would say.

So, after getting the softcopies, needless to say also, that people around us just can't wait to see them..& of course, I would gladly wanna show it to the whole world..haha. So, I posted it in my FB account the following day & all those nice comments just non-stop came flooding in! Although all these pics are without additional effects or touch-ups...they are more than perfect already!

Well, we finally felt that all the hardwork was worth it. To earn all those nice comments & agreement that it's really great, we feel the satisfaction ourselves. A pat on both our shoulders..a job well done!! We are now soooo not looking forward to the other photoshoot. I don't think we will be able to top this 'top-of-the-top' form...hehe
