I'll be away in Singapore for NATAS Fair from 27/02~02/03. I'll only be back at work on the 3rd, then not long later, I'll be back home in KK celebrating my birthday...yippeeeee!!!

Yes..TVB + Astro Wah Lai Toi is giving me a very nice birthday present this year. Yes, they are showing one of my favourite drama series in 2008 on MY BIRTHDAY..yes..episode one will be aired on 9th March 2009!!

For those who haven't watched this before...it's a MUST watch!! Mark this date...9th March 2009...(yes...remember that it's my birthday too!!)

Last Saturday night, this miserable place that I work at called City of Entertainment came to life when we got the honour to host the annual Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards. More than 10 TVB artistes came all the way from Hong Kong to this award presentation ceremony.

Being the TVB queen that I am since young, of course I wouldn't miss this. Especially when a few of the artistes are my idols; namely Raymond Lam, Moses Chan, Joe Ma, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung & Linda Chung..wow wow wow...

So I rushed back to get ready after work & went off with a few of my buddies, those that I know I will have a good time with. & surely, we had a great night. It was soooo much fun...I feel like a crazy teenager idolising them..being in the atmosphere of all those screamings & yellings made me feel young & high!! Hahaha....I feel that I can blend in there with the crowd...so, I'm not old at all!! It was so cool to see them all in real flesh & blood right in front of me...Joe Ma was sooo handsome...Raymond Lam too...& Bosco..Ron Ng...ALL of them!! The ladies..pretty, slim & sexy..but too bad my favourite among all favourites...Charmaine Sheh didn't come :(

Thought that was the end...on my way back, we just so happen to bump into the crowd waiting for the artistes to return back to their hotel rooms. Gosh...it was way past midnight but look at the crowd!! Anyway, managed to catch another glimpse of the whole group as they head back after a meal at THE OLIVE. The crowd went CRRRRRRRAAAAAZY...but I managed to snap pretty Linda with Shirley Yeung Sze Kei behind her...

OuR 4th DatiNG aNNiVeRSaRy

Well, I'll just have to post this before the clock ticks midnight. Today is our 4th anniversary as a dating couple. A day that will always remain special to us...20th FEBRUARY

As Dada has been working night shifts this whole week, we didn't get to celebrate much. Last night, I went for a movie with a few friends while he was at work. He called me at midnight, to wish me Happy Anniversary. He was very concerned at that time why I still wasn't back at our room yet. Little did I know...that he had a little surprise waiting for me....

As I opened the door, I was surprised to see that the room was dark, except for some dim lights, the laptop was on as well, with a slideshow playing all the beautiful pics that we have taken all these years...some romantic songs in the background...& here's where the dimly lit lights came from...a beautiful ferris wheel on the table..rotating itself..WOW...this room has never been in this kind of romantic mood before!! The only thing missing is Prince Charming appearing with red roses in his hands to be presented to the Pretty Princess in front of him...hehe ;)

VaLeNtiNe'S DaY 2009

So, if any of you have been wondering how we celebrated our..as a good friend of mine MJ said as..."Our Last Valentine's before getting married" Hmm...so here's a short report on what we did.

As we'll be back at work on the actual day, so we celebrated on the 13th. Some friends asked why we didn't opt to take the day off, well..we simply just didn't think it's necessary. Since we're so lovey-dovey 24/7, EVERYDAY is VALENTINE'S DAY to us..true? Yeah...

So, we went for dinner at the VIETNAM HOUSE, a new restaurant up here in this miserable hill that we work at. I've been there with my colleagues, but not Dada, so this is our first time there together. We really like the environment, decorations & settings there. Makes one feel relaxed & just enjoy a quiet dinner with a warm & cozy feel. Here's the food that we ordered:

Since we're on leave again, we have shopped around for those little tiny details & things that we need for the big day. And before that, the photo shoot as well. Dada won't let himself be any less glamourous..so here's to the GROOM:

Now, let's look at this pair of absolutely cool white shoes for the GROOM. He has been looking high & low for WHITE shoes to complete his 'White Horse Prince' look. Haha...now he's got them! He's all excited & ready for the photoshoot in May! (So am I!!)

While we were shopping around for our wedding, we went into Borders in Times Square & happened to bump into a John Grisham promotion. 3 for the price of 2!! I've been hit by the bookworm bug again & chose 3 titles. Doesn't matter that it's not the latest but as long as it's something that I have not read & most importantly...at a reasonable price.

OK, when it comes to wedding, what is more important than the bride taking care of herself & be at her top form?? Well, I indulged in somethings that I wouldn't normally spend so much on...just for the sake of ensuring I look my best. I bought: Fake lashes & fingernails, facial & eye masks, face makeup & eye makeup remover, stockings in nude colour for the photoshoot, chin & forehead pore cleansing strips...wow wow wow...it feels soooo good to pamper yourself!

Some Stationeries that we will need

Before going down, Dada already had a list of things to buy. One important item on his list was none other than the equipment that we need to sign on the DOTTED LINE..Yess...it's the PEN! We initially wanted to buy only one, but then Dada said it would then be a mess as he would sign, then followed by me, then our witnesses. Just ONE pen to pass around for the 4 of us? Why don't we get 2? So, OK, we bought one RED & one BLUE, one for HER & one for HIM...:)

As for the glitter glue & Gold Marker...we'll not leak out the secret yet on what we'll use it for...stay tuned...

My Heart-shaped Diamond Bangle :)

I have always wanted to have a heart-shaped diamond. We were looking for one as the engagement ring, but then we couldn't get one that I like. So, in the end, we founda bangle instead, with a heart-shaped diamond...which is too lovely to say no...it's now MINE :) From Dada..with love...

Our Wedding Bands

As I have blogged previously, we got our wedding bands last month. But then, mine was sent for alteration & we picked it up only yesterday. Now they can both live happily ever after together...we'll keep it safe somewhere till the photoshoot in May...:)

So, with all the hardwork & just a blink of an eye, CNY has come & gone. CNY really means nothing to me nowadays except huge crowd in this City of Entertainment, workload doubles or triples up & long hours of work. Sigh~~that's how I have been spending CNY these recent years.

Anyway, the only consolation which is not that bad this year is that I got to have a decent dinner with my family in KL on the last day of CNY. Well, as the saying goes, better late than never. So, off we went after work yesterday to Uncle John's place.

It was a great dinner with lots of my favourite dishes. The hot topic for the night was, none other than our wedding. (yeah, what else can top that??) I was so touched & happy that I was almost in tears that everyone was so supportive & excited about our big day. Everyone wants to play a part & talked so excitedly about all the plans & activities to have for the wedding. My aunts ran through some customs & traditions that we should take note & also, the best thing was...we decided on our best man & bridesmaid then & there too!! This 2nd perfect couple standing next to THE PERFECT couple (US) would be my cousin Ah Dee & his girlfriend Sze Sze! I think they match us perfectly! Actually we have not given much thought about them being the VIP standing next to us. Until last night, it seems like everything just fell into place. There & then we went...TING! Yes, why haven't we thought of them earlier?? Haha...well, actually the reason we didn't give it much thought was because we weren't sure if they would be flying over to KK to attend our wedding. It was really only last night that I knew I have my WHOLE family, no matter young or old, close or not so close..backing me up..*sniff*sniff* so touched. I really THANK GOD for them...

I'm soooo happy...happily planning my wedding...bit by bit...Sometimes, when I ran out of ideas...I Thank God that, HE will suddenly shed some light to me & show me the way...Today, everyone is busy bombarding airasia.com booking tickets to my wedding...I really am touched & happy that our wedding has brought us all into good spirits & closer as a family. Thank You, Lord!
