Happy 2x BirtHDay to ME!!

Today is my big day...yeah...it's my birthday! I get to be the queen for the day...(well, in fact I AM QUEEN everyday actually...haha). So, happy birthday to me..happy birthday to me...:)

Oh yeah, I did tell everyone that I'm celebrating my birthday in Gold Coast (courtesy of Dada), right? Yeah, so here I am..all the way from Aussie land...on our 2nd day already. Enjoying the sunshine & the lovely everything there is here...especially the hospitality of my lovely cousins..:) Will sign off abruptly here...as we'll be having an exciting day ahead of us tomorrow. So, I had better hit the sack early to prepare myself for a fun-filled day! Yippeee....shall blog about our trip Down Under when we get back to the boring miserable hill...meanwhile, I will enjoy myself to the fullest before going back to work..urghhh..haha!

SaSa sHoppiNG!!

As you all should know by now, I'm kind of a Sasa fan. Have been splurging on beauty products offered there before our BIG DAY to ensure I look my best.

So, nearly 3 months gone & of coz I'm still shopping there for the best beauty products in the market! Surely, I need to ensure that I'm a LENG TAI (pretty Mrs), right...haha...On my recent trip there, found out that this month (March), they have a daily promotional item. WooooHooo...of coz I'll be shopping like crazy...hahaha...& they are giving out a lovely, girly-girly shopping bag after spending an XX amount..(I can't remember though..). Makes every girl a happy girl to shop there...right? Hehehe...

Met up with an old colleague today. We were previously at the same section in 2005-2006, then after that, went separate ways. Though we seldom meet up, but ONCE we meet up, everything is just like old times...we can gossip & gossip & gossip non-stop & laugh like crazy. Hahaha....

She's an easy-going girl & to me, it seems like she has no worries. She always has a smile on her face & can laugh like crazy at the silliest joke ever. But during our conversation, she would sometimes bring in some maturity, honest & serious statements. For example, she said this to me today:

"You know, to the rest of us, u & Ray are a great couple & everything about you guys are so natural & smooth. So happy for you that you're such a lucky couple. We see you 2 dating, the next step was promotion to AM, then getting married, then now, Ray being promoted to Manager...everything seems so perfect, so smooth for you 2! You're both SO lucky! SO happy for you!"

Yes, we know & we thank God everyday for His blessings upon us. We know we're lucky & we work hard for it, too. Just wanna thank God for everything that He has given us..let's hope that our Lady Luck will be here to stay forever & ever...AMEN!

JaNuaRy ~ FaReWeLL MoNtH II

First there was Sharon WESTBROOK, then, Christy & Joo Nee.

Christy was an Assistant Manager that I worked with couple of years back. Well, we weren't really close but still, I remember her as someone who taught me alot of things. & she's one lucky woman blessed with a great husband & lovely kids. Well, I'm fine & comparable with the GREAT HUSBAND part, but I think it's full stop after that. Not really thinking of lovely kids for me yet...haha..

Then, the next one was a little girl, Joo Nee's farewell. She finally wanted a break & got it...lucky her! I wish I could just leave...HERE & NOW too..just like that...sigh~~but I can't...

Yeah, speaking of farewells, of course there were tears as well...sad tears, happy tears..no matter what, it's coz it's someone that matters that we let out those tears...I can easily think of some that I would not shed a tear at all when he/she leaves...how I wish that day will come ASAP!!!

JaNuaRy ~ FaReWeLL MoNtH

Every beginning of year, after receiving the year-end bonus of the previous years, there are bound to be resignations. This year, it was even worse due to some 'reasons', which tend to always relate to $$..of coz, else what?? Of coz there are 'other' reasons as well...& if I were to leave this shit place one day...it will fall under the 'other' reason as well.

Sad to see some of my best buddies leave...at the same time, happy for them as well coz they are able to leave this miserable place that is full of.....you know...hehe

One of the saddest one would be a buddy that both Dada & I worked with since Membership GSA days..she's a very nice, bubbly & friendly girl. Tend to break down once in a while, due to work pressure & I'm glad she shared those moments with me as a friend. I really cherish those nice, tearful yet touching moments with her, supporting & advising each other to go on & not give up. We were a great team, always helping out each other, going through ups & downs together...those were the only happy moments I have thus far working here...really miss those days. That's what we call a "TEAM"..ok..I'll always remember & cherish those moments*sniff*sniff*

However, after being assigned to different sections after being promoted, we grew apart. Kinda sad & I always blame myself for being too 'busy' & didn't think of asking her out for lunch more often. Sigh~~I keep reminding myself that I shouldn't neglect my REAL FRIENDS!! Remember!

I have concluded that February is probably our 'lucky' month. Though both our birthdays aren't in the month of February, but then, there are lots of other occasions worth celebrating in February.

1st of all, we started dating in February ~ 20th February 2005

Then of coz, there's Valentine's Day ~ 14th February

And, another date in February worth remembering is..1st February happens to be the ultimate LUCKY date for Dada in terms of career, coz he was promoted to Assistant Manager on 1st February, 2007. Then in 2010, exactly 3 years later on this very date, he got promoted to Manager post! I'm so proud of him...All the best dear, will always be here for you. Muakkkss...

Then, there's also Chinese New Year, which always happen to touch February. The best time & 'excuse' to go shopping for new stuff. So here's what I got for this year's CNY during our off-days this week:

New shoes..a MUST to walk this new journey in 2010

This year, we got new phones as our W910i SUCKS..big time..so both of us got a HTC Touch Diamond 2 each..

New clothes for work..we 'accidentally' got 1 each that matches each other..WOOHOO..we'll be parading this on the 1st Day of CNY..giving out angpows to everyone anticipating it..hehe

See..it's exactly the same, Blue for HIM & Pink for ME..can't believe we actually bought this without realising that it matches so perfectly till we reach home..haha..so sweet~~

GoLD CoAst BiRtHDay

Today, after weeks of pestering...Dada finaly booked the tickets..NOPE, not for our honeymoon. It's just a FOR FUN trip...or I can only allow people to link it to my Birthday...that's it.FULLSTOP. Yeah...it's a BIRTHDAY TRIP that should have been expense-free for me...right?? So, Dada..no half-half..you pay for everything...hehehe...

At first, this 'kiam siap' hubby of mine, wanted to take me to MELAKA for my birthday woh...MELAKA woh..MELAKA!! Melaka is just a place that we can go ANYTIME..not a birthday trip destination la..So kahsian meh?? 1st birthday as his MRS SIM...& he treats me like that!! Luckily in the end he booked the tickets to Gold Coast..well, not really where I DESPERATELY wanna go coz..well, I've been there & it's not really an ideal honeymoon spot..so that's why I refer it to as BIRTHDAY trip..to meet up with my cousins studying over there..that's it..*hehe*
