We FiNaLLy MOVED IN!!!

YES!! The auspicious date was 18th November 2010 that we officially moved in! It's such a nice feeling to have a REAL HOME to go back to! Here's the place where we're going to build our family! So, I'll let everyone have a little peek at our place as I decided not to upload pics of every corner of our modest little home. Just to reserve some privacy for ourselves & the ''copyrights'' on our home furnishings & designs as I noticed there are LOTS of COPYCATS around! Hate it! Go get your own ideas, OK!

Hi there...I have a new target again! Was browsing LV Website & found this in the Multicolor range..(which I have yet to own one...). Above all reasons to have this is: this model is called ANNIE!!! My Mummy Darling's name!! How can I NOT have it, right?? As I told Dada, it will make me feel like I have mummy by my side all the time!! Hahahhaa...what an EXCELLENT EXCUSE...right?? So, it's in my MUST BUY list! Thanks, Da!

WatCH it!

Since young, watches have always been one of my favourite accessories that I like to play with. Fashionable, long-wearing & keeps me 'professionally on time'...So that's why I love them & would never be caught going out without a watch on my wrist! Over the years, mum & dad have showered me with lots of watches. I remember: Colourful digital watches, a wood watch from Hong Kong, a Garfield "Pisces"watch, Baby-G, G-Shock, a Blue Carlo Rino watch & many, many more! I am truly blessed...right?? I thank God everyday for that...Love you, mum & dad!

Now, as I grow older & earn my own $$, my love for watches have never ended, but instead; it has grown even more! In just 2 months, I have added 4 new watches to my collection! In July, I got 2 TITUS watches back in KK, then today, I got another 2 ESPRIT watches! I know! I'm crazy, but I just can't help it!

#2: TITUS also...in WHITE (my favourite colour!) & with a lot of bling blings..
#3: ESPRIT ~ with brown snake skin, a color that I have never had..& loving it!

#5: Well, since it's Dada's birthday month, got another one for him too - just being the 'good wife' that I AM...hahaha...as long as everyone's happy..:)

Only & as long as when I'm with Dada...I believe...my next stop, every stop, no matter we stop or not...I'll always be 幸福。。So happy to find this waiting for me when I reached Genting after 2 weeks of continuos NATAS + MATTA Fair...LOVE YOU SO MUCH, DA....how I wish you can be like REN GUANG XI....wuahahhaha...nonetheless, I'll always love you..forever & ever!

Yippeee...finally!! I have several weddings to attend & most importantly MOTIVATE myself to keep fit!!! I'm so excited!! Here's the line-up:

16th Sept: Siew Leng's Wedding (Location: Kuala Lumpur) ~ a highschool classmate of mine who used to sit beside me in class..have not seen her for more than 10 years!! Don't know her husband, but I'm sure she has found her Mr Right..:)

18th Nov: Leax & Chyi San's Wedding (Location: Kuala Lumpur) ~ both colleagues at work whom both me & Dada have on & off been working with since the very first day we work here. Happy for them too...though they can NEVER be the celebrity couple like US...hehehe! But, being someone who remembers people who have done good things to me & determine to do good to others in return, they helped us during our wedding, soooo it's PAY BACK time! Have promised them to just say the word & we'll certainly do it for them in return..:) sincerely..from the heart...

11th Dec: Anderson's Wedding (Location: Miri) ~ the ONLY friend who has the honour of ME..yes..ME, the LCLY Marketing & Management Princess back in our Curtin days to fly all the way to Miri to attend his wedding!

19th Dec: Gigi's Wedding (Location: Kuala Lumpur) ~ a funny & 38 friend + colleague at work. well, happy for her too...although we have never been overly close friends. Well...well...she attended our wedding too...& I'm sure it was sincerely from her heart too, when she congratulated us that very night...so, I wanna be there for her too!

So..here's the agenda for the time being. Shall update if we happen to receive more invitations..so happy for all of them! I wanna spread the wedding bliss....OUR wedding bliss...to all of them. Welcome to the HAPPILY MARRIED COUPLES' CLUB, people!

sHoppinG QueeN AttaCk aGaiN!!

While I'm still on leave, had another great (productive) shopping day today. Bought more make up essentials, skincare products & health food. Yeah..health food...so unlike me, hoh? This time, I have really decided & determined to live, sleep & work healthily + (most importantly beautifully) always. Coz as what I said to Dada, I wanna live longer to love him & be loved by him in this lifetime. Awwww...so sweet, eh? So, here's the harvest for today:

From Eu Yan Sang: Spirulina for HIM & Bird's Nest for ME! Hehe..

From ~H2O+: Bought it based on recommendation from a friend, so I heard..it's good for hydrating the skin..as if feeding your skin with 8 glasses of water! Let's hope so! I was told that I need to hydrate, hydrate & hydrate (to keep wrinkles away)!!

Alright...more make up!! A girl just can't have enough!
~~Love the eyeshadow shades there, the highlight powder, glitter liquid eyeliner + glitter gel to glam up the evening look. Also, there's the bronzer (actually a blusher) used to tone down 'some' areas of my face. Of coz, there's also BB cream (which girl can live without it nowadays??) + lastly, Bio-essence Hydrating Sleeping Mask which I heard will help to lock in moisture & keep your skin hydrated while you sleep..let's hope they all work their magic on ME!~~

IKEA GooDies

For the past 2 weeks or so, we went to IKEA couple of times to be 'inspired' by their ideas on home furnishing & goodies.

Besides planning for our little humble home, we also have a small unit in Genting to take care of & make it feel like as comfy as a home should be. So, we walked around & Dada threw all these into the shopping cart:

Item #1: Shoe rack just enough for my shoes for WORK only~~

Item #2: A set of organiser drawers for my accessories & make up kits!!

Item #3: A chest of drawers meaning ~ Room for more clothes!! yippee~~~

ApRiL ~ MontH of cHaNGes

April...instead of it being a FOOL month, it was a month of changes for me & us.

First of all, after being in th same position for 3 and a half years, I've decided that it's time to move on. No, not that outrageous to resign from my job, but to transfer to other sections. To learn new things & work in a new environment. Might not be healthier (as this new post requires me to work night shifts, which might sound bad for most people, BUT too bad, NOT FOR ME). Infact, I actually enjoy it. Coz I really hate routine work. I don't like coming in & going back at the same time EVERYDAY, sitting at the same place, seeing same faces and doing the same / similar stuff over & over again. So, I requested to move to another section & got it. Started on the 1st of this month, a new beginning & enjoying it so far. Though there are night shifts, but I don't mind at all coz it means having more time with Dada :)

Besides work, this month, we moved into a new unit of the same hostel building coz of Dada's promotion. So, imagine having to shift rooms when we were both working night shifts. Damn tiring! Even more so with all our possessions. After officially moving in on the 18th of the month, the place is still a mess. Clothes here, shoes there...we still haven't got time to really tidy up the place. Wait...just wait...we'll be on leave in a couple of days' time, so...hopefully something will be done about it...hehehe...

Happy 2x BirtHDay to ME!!

Today is my big day...yeah...it's my birthday! I get to be the queen for the day...(well, in fact I AM QUEEN everyday actually...haha). So, happy birthday to me..happy birthday to me...:)

Oh yeah, I did tell everyone that I'm celebrating my birthday in Gold Coast (courtesy of Dada), right? Yeah, so here I am..all the way from Aussie land...on our 2nd day already. Enjoying the sunshine & the lovely everything there is here...especially the hospitality of my lovely cousins..:) Will sign off abruptly here...as we'll be having an exciting day ahead of us tomorrow. So, I had better hit the sack early to prepare myself for a fun-filled day! Yippeee....shall blog about our trip Down Under when we get back to the boring miserable hill...meanwhile, I will enjoy myself to the fullest before going back to work..urghhh..haha!

Met up with an old colleague today. We were previously at the same section in 2005-2006, then after that, went separate ways. Though we seldom meet up, but ONCE we meet up, everything is just like old times...we can gossip & gossip & gossip non-stop & laugh like crazy. Hahaha....

She's an easy-going girl & to me, it seems like she has no worries. She always has a smile on her face & can laugh like crazy at the silliest joke ever. But during our conversation, she would sometimes bring in some maturity, honest & serious statements. For example, she said this to me today:

"You know, to the rest of us, u & Ray are a great couple & everything about you guys are so natural & smooth. So happy for you that you're such a lucky couple. We see you 2 dating, the next step was promotion to AM, then getting married, then now, Ray being promoted to Manager...everything seems so perfect, so smooth for you 2! You're both SO lucky! SO happy for you!"

Yes, we know & we thank God everyday for His blessings upon us. We know we're lucky & we work hard for it, too. Just wanna thank God for everything that He has given us..let's hope that our Lady Luck will be here to stay forever & ever...AMEN!

GoLD CoAst BiRtHDay

Today, after weeks of pestering...Dada finaly booked the tickets..NOPE, not for our honeymoon. It's just a FOR FUN trip...or I can only allow people to link it to my Birthday...that's it.FULLSTOP. Yeah...it's a BIRTHDAY TRIP that should have been expense-free for me...right?? So, Dada..no half-half..you pay for everything...hehehe...

At first, this 'kiam siap' hubby of mine, wanted to take me to MELAKA for my birthday woh...MELAKA woh..MELAKA!! Melaka is just a place that we can go ANYTIME..not a birthday trip destination la..So kahsian meh?? 1st birthday as his MRS SIM...& he treats me like that!! Luckily in the end he booked the tickets to Gold Coast..well, not really where I DESPERATELY wanna go coz..well, I've been there & it's not really an ideal honeymoon spot..so that's why I refer it to as BIRTHDAY trip..to meet up with my cousins studying over there..that's it..*hehe*

Hey there...I think I will use a different language to say goodbye each year..I used Italian last year, & this year it's Japanese..hehe..

As I looked back on the events in 2009...how should I wrap it up? Hmm..indeed it was a GRRReat year, no doubt about it. Had a great everything..great family bonding times, chaos, happy, fun & memorable moments, everything at work's fine..kinda stressful handling work & the wedding to plan for at a point in time. But thank God, for having Dada by my side...I managed & survived it..without turning into a BRIDEZILLA..hehe

So cheers to 2009 & double cheers for an even greater 2010 year ahead!

Would like to blog about a conversation held yesterday, between me & a VIP guest of Dada's whom we met.

VIP Guest: Wow, so Ray, this is your wife? She's very beautiful...(saja wanna emphasize here that he said this...haha)

Me: No, not his wife yet, just FUTURE wife, will only officially turn his wife next week.

VIP Guest: He's a great guy, u know..U'll have a happy & 'xing fu' future with him...Congrats to you both on your wedding...:)

Wow, so from then on, Dada keeps reminding me of this conversation..Haha...

Yesterday, was also a day to remember as it was his interview day. I didn't wanna pressure him, just support him & assured him that as long as he tries his best, then there's nothing to worry about. Many didn't expect he'd be one of the candidates. Not that it's a sure win for him, but at least he has been given the chance that only selected ones had. I'm so proud of him. No matter how it turns out to be, we'll always be together, supporting & loving each other. Muaksss...Yes, dear...I know I'm very lucky to have found you but that's because I have great taste. As usual, as always...haha..That's why I love you & believe in you..you're my pride & joy! Love you always :)

Just when I thought he didn't prepare anything at all for this memorable day, he surprised me with this:

1: As I walked out of the bathroom after a shower...he had the laptop displaying the below slides which I can only click 'next' after I finish a task. Haha....watch too much Amazing Race I suppose.

2: So, with each other the clues given, I find a gift hidden at each the places/things that I was supposed to dig out.

OuR WeDDinG aLBuM...

Yes, the albums were ready at just about the right time. Got a call from the bridal house telling us the albums are ready & we can pick them up anytime. Hurray!! Further more, mum is in town these few days. PERFECTO! So, on the morning of the 18th, we woke up early to pick mum up at LCC Terminal & headed to Seremban to get our wedding albums right away.

But before that, we went to Vietnam House again the night before & took this pic, which I think turned out really nice...so, just feel like sharing it:

What makes me happy, was that my dearest mummy was one of the first to see all this! I can see that, mama is very happy to see her little girl grow up & is preparing for her BIG DAY. She said our pics are all so nice..so beautiful...I'm sure she's proud of her little girl...ME! Mum...I'm proud of you too...you're the dearest person in my heart...:)

I think mum got even happier when the albums were shown to my aunts & uncle. Everyone kept saying the albums are A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y GORGEOUS!! & they could see some images of my mum in those photos...which made mum even prouder & happier...& of coz, which means..ME TOO!! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, we left behind the 'long' photoframe there. We wanted to have it along..but after adjusting & re-adjusting but still couldn't fit it into the car with the 3 of us. So, no choice, we have to leave it there till our next visit for the gown fittings of the actual day. :( How LONG is the frame? Well, I can't remember the sizes but I can tell you it's ala Ho Jit Nam's style (or Terence & Constance ~ YES, Moses Chan & Gigi Lai) in Gem of Life...Yup...that COOL photoframe that they had in the living room. It's something like that...but ours is a combination of several pics, whereas theirs is a huge frame of 1 pic that they put in the living room. I remember there's a scene of Moses looking at it when their relationship was shaky...absolutely beautiful & touching...But we've yet to have a living room...:( That's why there's no hurry to pick that up yet...but soon...very soon...

Being bored, did a quiz in Facebook. The question was, "What type of wife are you or will you be?" & after answering some questions HONESTLY...the answer was: HUMBLE/ SUPPORTIVE.....

The day is just PERFECT!!! Coz on this very special day, the magazine with our wedding photos that I talked about previously is OUT!!

I wasn't aware about it. But guess who was the first to tell me?? My BOSS! Hahaha...went to attend a meeting & he came with the magazine to show me. He even teased about wanting to charge us for the free 'advertisement' that it's doing for us. Hahaha...Wonder who else has seen it..?? But then at the moment, no one has approached us nor talked to us about seeing our pictures in the magazine yet other than my boss.

Was so excited..smsed Dada right away to tell him (was abit paiseh to talk on the phone, in case other people hears me..). After the meeting, went to get myself a few copies just to 'siok sendiri'. Hehe...Didn't show anyone, wanna keep a low profile & decided not to mention anything unless other people talk about it first. Just in case...some people will be jealous of the spotlight that we are getting & envy us for being such a PERFECT COUPLE~~ :-p
