FuNNy ReMaRks + ReSuLts CoMiNG SooN

Was too busy recently to blog this. While we were at the bridal house choosing my gowns, there was this funny remark:

SA = Shop assistant at the bridal house

PG = Photographer

ME = Me (what else??)

Scene 1:

SA: Is your future hubby from overseas?

ME: Huh? No, but he's not from Seremban if that's what you mean. He's from Taiping.

SA: Oh, he is Malaysian? He looks like ABC (American Born Chinese). He's sooo fair..look at his skin colour...so nice. I was so shocked when I hear him speak Mandarin!

ME: Huh? Yameh?? (really surprised where that came from!) Hahaha...

Then, the next day, when we were starting our photoshoot, we heard another sweet & nice remark:

Scene 2:

PG: You 2 look very alike!
ME: Huh? (Is he trying to say we look like siblings??) What do you mean?
PG: Oh, I mean to say...you look good together. You have the 'fu qi xiang'. A perfectly matched couple!
BOTH ME & DADA: Oh..Thanks! (Smiling happily)

Hahaha...so nice to receive this kind of comments, eh. Anyway, we'll be looking at the results in a week's time. So excited! Let's hope it's all worth the hard work. *Fingers crossed*

WhicH sHouLD be mY HaND BouQuet?

Actually, at the moment, after we're finished with the photoshoot, I begin to panic as I suddenly realised that we actually don't have that much time left. & there's sooooo much to be done!! What should we tackle first??

Now, I begin to think of our decorations, and with just the word DECORATIONS..there are so many types of decorations: Church Deco, Dinner Banquet Deco, Car Deco, my Hand Bouquet & Flowers for my cute entourage of Flower Girls & Boys. What theme colour should I have? I figured that I will first have to decide on my hand bouquet, then the rest will all fall into place. Coz I'M the centre of attention, so everything will have to match me. Right? Hehe..Have found some really nice pics on the internet. All the flowers are so pretty...Which one should I pick?

They are all so nice...Based on what should I make the decision?? The colour? But I love all the colours...The price? Should I really think of the tight budget we have & risk not having what I love the most? The availability? What if the flowers that I really want are not always available? Then should I consider picking flowers that are available everywhere & at anytime of the year? Perhaps I should start surveying florists during my next off days...

WeDDinG GiFts

It's more than 6 months till our BIG DAY. However, lovely friends around us have been showering us with gifts already! So nice & thoughtful of them! They are all cutie, lovey-dovey stuff for couples. Love them!! Thanks so much, Joo Nee & Loo Loo!!

pRE WeDDinG PiCs - sNeak pReVieW

Well...so what do you think?? Took this pic while we were on our way to Putrajaya for the outdoor shooting. I just took my phone out & simply snap, but looks good, eh? Haha..let's hope those taken with the professional care are even 10 times (or more) better..*with fingers crossed & hope for the ABSOLUTE best*..

However, it was really tiring & stressful. Though it was a wonderful experience all together, working with a great team of people. I'm really satisfied with their professionalism & skills. 10 thumbs up for them & I would strongly recommend them to ANYONE out there planning to get married...

FiNaL WeeK

As we go into the final week of preparation before the photoshoot...I tend to think alot..Perhaps many, many nonsense that I shouldn't be wasting time worrying about. The result of all this worrying? A GIGANTIC pimple near my nose that Thank God cleared in 2 days, & many, many strands of white hair!! My Goodness!! Am I really turning old that fast?

I'm not emotionally stable too. I don't understand why. Is this what others call the 'pre-wedding jitters' ? I surely don't hope so..or at least, let's hope that I get over it soon. I find myself getting irritated easily...SO DAMN EASY that it's annoying to myself too...Haha...what a statement..

Perhaps as we go into the final week of preparation before the photoshoot..let's hope that I get enough rest, no stress & nothing to worry about so that I can enjoy the day being the centre of attention with Dada...*fingers crossed*

tHe pReSSuRe is tHeRe

As days past by, we are getting nearer & nearer to the day we FINALLY take our pre-wedding pics, I feel the pressure boiling up. Knowing me, I want the PERFECT everything...but will our pics come out as good, nice, pretty & perfect as we wish? I really, really hope so. Coz I have high expectations on it. I know, everyone around us also can't wait to see our pics. Everywhere I go...people tend to ask me.."Taken your wedding pics already?? No? When?? When are you gonna take it? Can't wait to see them!!"

Aiyoooo...gimme a break! I get so stressed hearing all these comments. I just hope that everything will be fine, OK at work, stress-free...pimples-free & just truly enjoy ourselves at the photoshoot...I'm sooooo EXCITED!!! 14 DAYS TO GO...

mY PReCiouS HANG FOOK ZHI WAN

For those of you who have watched Gem of Life...yes the super duper long TVB series...you'll know what the hell I'm talking about here. In one of my previous post, I mentioned I'll upload all our lovely pics taken in Hong Kong & Macau. But then, I've decided against it. Coz..there's nothing to be excited about...EXCEPT this valuable buy that I got from Hong Kong. Hahaha..

I loved every bit of the story about this gorgeous ring in the series. The part about 2 persons' hearts sticking together..(thus this ring actually consists of 2 RINGS that only look good when worn together...if you wear it separately..it won't look good at all)..about this wonderful thing called LOVE in life. Once you've found your true love, you'll live happily ever after..this is called HANG FOOK...thus, this ring is named HANG FOOK ZHI WAN..

I never thought it's something that's REAL in life. I thought it's just another made-up story in those TVB series. I didn't know it really exists in the market. So, what a pleasant surprise I got when I saw this shop called MA BELLE..which was also part of the series...then when I walked in..I saw this poster about HANG FOOK ZHI WAN!! Hahahaha...& of course...need you ask some more?? OF COURSE I bought it....& felt the power of 'hang fook-ness' it brings to me each time I put it on...hahaha...this will definitely appear in my wedding pics...stay tuned!!
